Ode to #orenishii …. For the many years collecting #movie memorabilia and other junk - I’ve always wondered why they never released a #KillBill action figure of Oren Iishi that actually made it to the store shelves !? .. i think they were pulled because of legal issues ? Who knows …. Anyway so a friend and i came up with this #kitbash project when I saw a #charliesangels #LucyLiu doll at the discount bin in a toy store ( we only took her head lol ) . With the help of my friend who was crafty with sewing, we created Oren iishi from scratch ! We the ordered a 1:6 custom scale #CYDOLL articulated body on ebay and used the Lucy Liu head afterwards ! Once all the materials were gathered, My friend assembled the pattern for the #kimono and constructed everything ( including the #GETA #japanese sandals !) … Im overly impressed with the results and all we needed was Lucy Liu’s head lol! ill post some more pics for those interested so be sure to keep an eye out for more updates on my site and #IG. !
